Project “Senior Transport of the Czech Red Cross Ústí nad Orlicí”

Our company supported the acquisition of a DACIA JOGGER social vehicle

for the Regional Association of the Czech Red Cross Ústí nad Orlicí.

The Regional Association of the Czech Red Cross in Ústí nad Orlicí marked 20 years of the Senior Transport service in December 2025.

The service was launched in December 2005 in Ústí nad Orlicí and gradually expanded to Česká Třebová, Lanškroun, Vysoké Mýto, Choceň, Brandýs nad Orlicí, Žamberk, and Kostelec nad Orlicí.

It is among the most widely used transport services for seniors and people with health limitations in the Pardubice Region, serving more than 1,600 clients each year.

Senior Transport provides accessible, safe, and compassionate transport to medical appointments, rehabilitation, offices, shopping, as well as visits to friends and social events. In doing so, it helps clients remain in their own homes for as long as possible.

The service can be used not only by people with disabilities or parents with children, but primarily by seniors (95% of clients) who have no other way to stay connected with the social environment.

The Senior Transport project of the Czech Red Cross – social transport focuses on providing assistance and support to promote social inclusion and also serves as a preventive measure against social exclusion.
